A small village of Byzantine origin, with various ruins accessible by visitors. One being the ‘Torre Marana’ – a lookout tower of Saracen origin, which is positioned near Brivadi another small centre in the same area of Ricadi.
In Brivadi it is worth visiting the old restored 18th century water mill.
